Zleep Hotels initiates internal reshuffle and hires new Hotel Manager

September 22nd, 2020

To ensure innovation and motivation as well as perspective and routine in daily operations, Zleep Hotels has chosen to initiate an internal employee reshuffle. The reshuffle became effective by the time of the opening of the new Zleep hotel in Lyngby September 1st, 2020.

“Zleep believes in people”

The day-to-day management and operation of Zleep Hotels’ central Copenhagen hotel at Vesterbro, Zleep Hotel Copenhagen City, will now be handled by former Hotel Manager at Zleep Hotel Ishøj, Eva Larsen. Former Hotel Manager at the hotel in inner Copenhagen, Kathrine Munch-Tranholm, has instead chosen to take over responsibility of the brand new hotel along the Elsinor highway in Lyngby.

As for the position as Hotel Manager in Ishøj, Zleep Hotels has once again chosen to extract the internal employee competencies. The position has thus been taken over by former receptionist and booking assistant Barbara Vestphael Christensen:

“Zleep believes in people and sees employees as the company’s most important resource. I have been offered a unique career opportunity as Hotel Manager, and I am very much looking forward to taking on that responsibility and at the same time exploring the possibilities for optimizing and rethinking operations. For me, it is important that both guests and staff have a good experience at the hotel, and therefore my primary focus will be on customer and staff care”, says new Hotel Manager at Zleep Hotel Ishøj Barbara Vestphael Christensen.

According to the hotel’s now former Hotel Manager, Eva Larsen, Barbara Vestphael Christensen is the perfect candidate for the position:

“Barbara takes care of everything. She is skilled, hardworking and solution oriented. She sees opportunities wherever she looks, and I know for a fact that it will be a success with Barbara in front. It is important to challenge oneself as it inspires and motivates and therefore, I am extremely happy and at the same time proud, that I have also been given the opportunity to manage a new hotel and thus solve new challenges”, says Eva Larsen, new Hotel Manager at Zleep Hotel Copenhagen City.

To accept new challenges

Both Eva Larsen and Kathrine Munch-Tranholm who are seasoned Hotel Managers started their Zleep careers as floor staff as a receptionist and intern, respectively. Both have always aimed for greater responsibility and when the opportunities have presented themselves, they have jumped at the offer – just as Barbara Vestphael Christensen is doing now. To renew yourself, take chances and challenge routines are important driving forces to the new hotel manager in Lyngby:

“I find great joy in accepting new challenges. When I was offered the position as Hotel Manager at the brand new hotel in Lyngby, I immediately accepted. It is very exciting and not least instructive to build and manage a hotel from scratch – a hotel that even offers the completely new room concept “Zleep Living”. However, most of all I look forward to creating solid collaborations with the many companies in the area”, says Kathrine Munch-Tranholm about the position as new Hotel Manager at Zleep Hotel Lyngby.
