Hotel in Kalundborg to be reopened by Zleep Hotels

July 26th, 2016

Røsnæs Hotel in Kalundborg was sold and closed approximately half a year ago. The new owners are reopening the hotel in cooperation with Zleep Hotels. Before reopening, the hotel is expanded and all rooms are renovated.

Reopening as Zleep Hotel Kalundborg

From the very beginning, the new owners have planned to reopen the building as a modern hotel where everyone can afford a stayover. Zleep Hotels has for several years experienced a huge success due to their simplified operational model. This allows the brand to maintain low prices. The new owners of the hotel in Kalundborg had good reason to agree to a cooperation with Zleep Hotels.

I’m very much looking forward to opening the doors in the beginning of September and welcoming new and old customers. I’m very pleased that I can benefit from Zleep Hotels’ experience and expertise in the hospitality industry. The cooperation with Zleep makes it possible to offer quality rooms at an affordable rate. My wish is to transform this hotel and the restaurant into a place where tourists and business travelers feel at home,” explains Hanne Dyremose, Hotel Manager at Zleep Hotel Kalundborg and the first Zleep franchisee.

Major room renovation

If everything goes according to plan, the hotel in Kalundborg will be reopened as Zleep Hotel Kalundborg on September 1st, 2016. During the Summer, all of the hotel’s rooms will be renovated to ensure comfortable and modern rooms. Furthermore, the hotel is expanding to accommodate an additional 16 rooms, totaling 63 available rooms when opened.

Kalundborg will be yet another great destination for Zleep Hotels. We have previously been very successful with converting existing hotels to the Zleep concept, and we expect that we are able to add both more customers and better managerial structures to the hotel in Kalundborg. In cooperation with Hanne Dyremose, we are looking forward to testing and developing Zleep as a franchise. Existing hotels in medium sized Scandinavian cities can be hard to operate as traditional hotels, but with our operational model and central distribution, we are capable of creating a profitable business,” says Peter Haaber, CEO of Zleep Hotels.
